The child’s mother Bianca Blaise told police that her son’s “head was in the toilet like he was drinking water” and that he “became unconscious.” When police arrived, they found the boy had no pulse and was in father Larry Rhodes Jr....
In April, Wei Wei told his family that he wanted to begin judo lessons. But two weeks later, after just his second judo lesson, he ended up in a coma. He is currently in intensive care on life support and is likely to remain in a vegetative state even if he survives. Wei Wei’s uncle was present at the class and filmed the incident to show the boy’s mother. According to the BBC, the video shows an older student throwing the boy repeatedly, despite Wei Wei screaming in pain....

On Saturday, Florida’s Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office received a bizarre request for help after a startled homeowner found an alligator in their backyard swimming pool. According to a Facebook post made by the department, Sheriff’s Deputy Heather Harris responded to the call and found a small alligator lazing in the pool. Luckily, she was able to quickly subdue the animal, tape its snout shut and safely remove it from the water....
