Russell was awarded the NBA’s Lifetime Achievement Award at the NBA Awards Show on Monday, and was introduced on stage to much fanfare by the likes of Shaquille O’Neal, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Dikembe Mutombo, Alonzo Mourning and David Robinson.

He had only one thing to say to those NBA stars (jokingly, we think): “I would kick your ass.”
When you’re a 12-time All-Star, 11-time NBA champion and five-time MVP, you can get away with a little trash talk, even on a star-studded night like this.
And, chances are he could kick their asses.
