As part of the night’s festivities, Jayhawks head coach Bill Self starred in a parody video of the ever-popular Dos Equis commercial.
Part of his spiel to the array of top recruits in attendance included emphasis on the number of championship rings the program had acquired.
“We don’t always wear jewelry,” Self said in the video, borrowing a line from the commercial. “But when we do, we wear a ring on each finger.”
