Burns was the fiancee of Bills sixth-round rookie linebacker Tony Steward, and the team released a statement on her passing.

Steward posted a touching message on his Instagram account regarding Burns’ passing.
Shortly after her diagnosis, the couple created a campaign called Fight Like A Girl to raise money and awareness for ovarian cancer.
Steward had proposed to her just seven weeks ago.
