The Blackhawks really went all out, and the Cubs’ logo projected onto the faceoff circles is a pretty sweet touch. Kyle Schwarber, Mike Montgomery and Jason Heyward featured their special guest, the Commissioner’s Trophy.

The Blackhawks’ tribute comes a night after Anthony Rizzo, Dexter Fowler and David Ross were featured on “Saturday Night Live” as a trio of male strippers.

The mutual respect of the Cubs and the Blackhawks isn’t anything new, however. In 2015, the Cubs played a Blackhawks’ game on Wrigley’s video board during a rain delay. The Blackhawks would go on to win the Stanley Cup, their third in six years.

We’re certain that the Cubs are hoping that the Blackhawks’ success — and puck luck  — transfers to the diamond.
