That means the Blue Jays will play Game 1 against the Indians with 24 players, one shy of the roster limit.
Liriano appeared in 10 games this season for Toronto after starting the year with the Pirates. For the season, he was 8-13 with a 4.59 ERA, but he is 2-2 with a 2.92 ERA for the Jays.
