It’s almost easy to forget he actually played football once before a crime. But seeing him help hoist Bob Hope in the air in the annual LOOK All-Americans crowdsurfing bit — it was pretty much the same thing, even the same jokes, most every year — is a pretty good reminder.

By the way, UCLA’s Gary Beban (who follows O.J.) won the Heisman in 1967 (O.J. was runner-up before winning the following season).
