A photo taken from the Charlesmark Hotel perfectly captured the spirit of the city after winter storm Juno dumped almost three feet of snow on Boston.

The roads appear to be in bad shape, but it’s nice to see someone taking special care of the marathon’s historic landmark.
The admirable citizen hasn’t been identified, though his good deed is going viral.
UPDATE: The Twitter search for #WhoShoveledTheFinishLine paid off and the noble Bostonian was revealed as Chris Laudani.

Laudani doesn’t think his actions were heroic, he just believes the finish line doesn’t deserve to be covered.
“I only did it to send a message,” he told Boston Magazine. “I think it’s cool that so many people feel the same way, but I saw the word ‘hero’ being tossed around and that I don’t like. I’m no hero, I’m just a nut who loves the marathon."
Mystery solved.
The Boston Marathon responded to Laudani’s gesture.
