Quillin (32-0-1, 23 KO) pounded Zerafa (17-2, 9 KO) four times in the head during the fifth round before delivering a powerful right-handed knockout blow to Zerafa.

The blow forced Zerafa to a medical stretcher outside the ring. He was given oxygen but the ringside physician told NBC Sports he would be OK.
