Sadly for Froch, he would end up missing on the money. Although he did suffer an early elimination, Froch was still nice enough to stop by for an interview with the World Poker Tour crew:

Froch, who may be contemplating retirement from boxing, is rumored to be in negociations with Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. next summer in Las Vegas in what could very well be his final fight. The World Series of Poker usually runs from late May to mid-July; it would be a perfect opportunity for Froch to retire from boxing and move into possibly a new career in poker.

No matter what happens, best of luck, Champ!
