Boy With Rare Aging Disorder Throws Out First Pitch At Cardinals Game

After receiving a signed ball from Cardinals infielder Daniel Descalso and some pointers, Basso nailed the first pitch.

The trip is special for more reasons than the Cardinals game because it is the first time Basso has felt strong enough to travel. He’s on a journey across the United States that will end Sept. 30 in California where he is set to receive a special prize.
