…and then Brandon Marshall learned what being a Jet is all about.

Marshall’s 15-yard reception was good for the first Jets first down after three straight three-and-outs, a stretch that included Darren Sproles’ 89-yard punt return for a Philadelphia touchdown. But Marshall got greedy, and tried to lateral to tight end Jeff Cumberland. Instead, he tossed the ball off the facemask of Eagles linebacker Marcus Smith.
The ball bounced to the ground, and linebacker Jordan Hicks accepted the gift fumble recovery, returning it two yards to the New York 45-yard line.
