As pointed out by Boyer in the Washington Times, Marshall's ex-girlfriend, Rasheedah Watley, filed a civil suit accusing the Bears receiver of separate battery incidents in 2007 and 2008, but the suit was dismissed in 2012. Marshall was also stabbed in the stomach by his wife, Michi Nagomi-Marshall, in 2011.
Meriweather was suspended for Washington's Week 8 game, a 42-21 loss to the Denver Broncos. He was originally suspended for two games, but that suspension was reduced by the league. The Redskins face the San Diego Chargers on Sunday in Week 9 action at 1 p.m. ET.
