Saturday, the Braves managed to pull off both. Nine Atlanta pitchers managed to no-hit the Astros as the two teams battled to a 2-2 tie in 10 innings of Grapefruit League action.

The Braves carried a 1-0 lead into the seventh inning until right-handed prospect Mauricio Cabrera worked his way into serious trouble in the bottom half.
Cabrera walked two and a hit batter, loading the bases to start the frame. Two Astros groundouts followed to give Houston a brief 2-1 lead, but Cabrera kept Houston hitless.
In the top of the eighth, Braves outfielder Todd Cunningham’s sacrifice fly plated Joey Terdoslavich to tie the game back up, 2-2.
From there, Atlanta right-handers Justin Jackson and Jairo Heredia tossed two perfect frames to secure the 10-inning no-hitter for the Braves’ staff.
It’s a shame nobody could claim the victory.
