The 14-year-old issued a statement on his mother’s Instagram calling for the “racist” abuse to stop after being forced to go private on his own account to protect himself from trolls.
Bravo took the unprecedented step to call out the behavior and threw its support behind Beauvais and her family.
“We are shocked and appalled at the social comments directed at Garcelle’s son,” the network wrote in a statement on Instagram.
“We urge our viewers and social media followers to refrain from targeting our cast and their families with harmful rhetoric.”
Jax was bombarded by trolls after tension brewed between his mom and the other Housewives.
Erika Jayne lashed out at Beauvais for calling out her behavior when she drank alcohol, while Lisa Rinna called out Beauvais’ fans for using race to divide them, but later withdrew her comments.
Jayne suggested that Beauvais’ comments were revenge for her saying her older son Oliver should consider a threesome and also cursed at Jax, in an RHOBH After Show that has since been removed from YouTube.
Diana Jenkins also accused Beauvais of being too reserved and Rinna then said she was too “afraid” to hear what Jenkins had to say.
While Rinna apologized for her comments to Beauvais and publicly joined forces to call out trolls attacking their children, it did not stop a barrage of abuse towards Jax.
The high-school student shared some of the horrific messages he was sent, including one that read: “You’d have your neck kneeled on it if it weren’t for your white daddy. Tell your mom to leave Diana alone or you’ll deal with us.”
Another suggested Beauvais should stop focusing on Jayne’s drinking to focus on “your brother Oliver drug intake instead.”
The attack reportedly came via a bot campaign orchestrated by Jenkins and Jayne’s fans, according to The Daily Beast.
Jax spoke out about the abuse he faced calling out the “middle aged women” who were targeting him as he started high school.
“Well I’d like to start off by saying I am still a kid and wish to not be viewed as a fully matured adult, because I am not one,” his statement began which was posted to his mom’s Instagram stories.
“It is currently my first week of high school and, instead of enjoying it like most kids at my school, I have to deal with being attacked on social media.”
He added: “I did not sign up for this show, nor do I have anything to do with the show’s drama.”
Jax said, “I just want to be a normal kid,” and that his Instagram was not for the “public’s gaze.”
The teen did not “want to go private” on the social media platform but was forced to after he was inundated with “racist and crude comments.”
He revealed this “is not what I expected for my first week of high school.”
“Thank you for all the positive comments. It truly means a lot to me,” Jax finished.
The other RHOBH women also issued their own condemnation of the abuse, with Jenkins the last to speak publicly on the issue.
On Tuesday, Rinna and Beauvais were on a united front against online trolls going after the show’s children.
“What I was just sent about @garcelle son is disgusting and unacceptable,” Rinna wrote.
She also referenced trolling against Kyle Richards’ daughter, Portia, and Jayne’s son, Tommy.
“What I heard happen to Porshe @kylerichards18 is disgusting and unacceptable. what you’ve said and done to my own kids disgusting,” she said. “The threats to @theprettymess son!?!! And I’m sure all of the other beautiful children.”
Rinna concluded, “They didn’t sign up for this. What are [you] doing?! The kids—all of our kids should be off limits so stop it now. Enough is enough.”
Beauvais retweeted Rinna’s message and added: “This has to stop!!! They’re just kids.”
By Tuesday afternoon, Richards also joined in on Instagram, writing: “Picking on children of the housewives is not okay. It is never okay to attack a child. Is your life that actually empty? If it is seek help. Shame on you.”
Bravo declined to comment when contacted by Newsweek.
