One team apparently willing to put up with Miko’s antics is the Buccaneers, who signed Grimes to a two-year, $16.5 million contract (per ESPN) Friday. Shortly after the signing was announced, Grimes sent a statement to Sun-Sentinel reporter Omar Kelly.
It reads:
Miko’s Twitter account was taken down, an action some believe is related to Brent’s signing with Tampa Bay. She claims she was just tired of reading her haters’ tweets.
But don’t worry. She’ll be back.
