Current Redskins Ricky Jean Francois and Niles Paul also were displeased with Cooley, who said both the offensive line and receivers didn’t like Griffin.
Former Redskin and current ESPN analyst Ryan Clark dismissed Cooley on ESPN’s “First Take.”
“Anything he says, I don’t pay attention to it,” Clark said. “Right now he’s a dude that gets his rocks off by bashing people. There’s never substance to what he says.”
It doesn’t mean much for Griffin now whether his teammates liked him or not — he’ll be on a new roster next season. As for Cooley, he may have a 6-3, 257-pound problem named Brian on his hands.
