The Pitch Perfect star, 36, and her husband, 33, who rose to prominence in August on Netflix’s Selling the OC, shared a pair of identical statements, telling fans of their separation.

A 2018 analysis of marriage and divorce data by researcher Phillip Cohen of the University of Maryland showed that there had been an 18 percent reduction in the U.S. divorce rate between 2008 and 2018.

“After time and consideration, Tyler and I have made the difficult decision to separate,” Snow began in her Instagram post. The pair each shared a photo of them in happier times.

Snow and Stanaland said they reached their decision out of “love and mutual respect for one another,” and that they need to “take some time and make sure we are each living our most fulfilling and authentic lives.”

The former couple met in 2018 and got married in March 2020 in Malibu, California.

They ended their statement with a promise to remain “best friends” and said that their relationship will remain a “priority” for not only them but also their dog.

“We started this journey as best friends and our relationship will continue to be a priority not only for us but for our dog Charlie,” they said.

The couple said thank-you to their fans and loved ones for their support, writing: “We sincerely appreciate your support and ask for privacy as we navigate this new chapter.”

Snow and Stanaland’s marriage made headlines recently when he revealed that one of his Selling the OC costars, colleague Kayla Cardona, attempted to kiss him off camera at work drinks.

The series, which is a spinoff of Selling Sunset, sees Jason and Brett Oppenheim’s real-estate agency, The Oppenheim Group, expand to Orange County, California, where there are even more multimillion-dollar luxury properties to sell.

On the show, Stanaland said of Cardona, 33: “She genuinely tried to kiss me,” and in a later Selling the OC episode, his colleague apologizes for her actions and makes peace with him.

On the “We Have the Receipts” podcast, Stanaland discussed maintaining his marriage amid this work drama. “Communication. Trust. I think those are the two most-important qualities right there,” he said.

“Being able to talk about things that happened while filming. Understand what’s happening.”

Speaking about Snow supporting him on the Selling the OC show, Stanaland had told ET: “She’s supportive. I have what makes the most sense in my career, and she has what makes the most sense in her career, and kind of whatever is best, we do, and we support, and I think that’s what makes our relationship successful.”
