Jaimee Rando, 25, was arrested for simple assault and disturbing the peace for allegedly slapping Latimer in the face during a “quarrel over jealously issues.”

Latimer, who placed the call to police, was also arrested for failure to appear in court on an unrelated traffic violation. He later paid Rando’s $200 bail and resolved his traffic ticket before releasing a statement (since deleted) on Twitter.

“I reached out to the team on Monday to let them know of a personal issue that I dealt with over the weekend,” Latimer said. “I believe I handled it the right way, but I had no idea of the unrelated unpaid traffic ticket. That’s completely on me, and I took care of that today. … Back to football.”

Latimer was a second-round pick out of Indiana in the 2014 NFL Draft. While primarily playing on special teams, Latimer has eight career receptions for 82 yards and a touchdown in 22 games.
