Manning is on the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook’s props board for 2.5 TD passes against the Chiefs in primetime, and we’re siding with the OVER.

Banking on three TD passes is an aggressive play, but in Manning’s case it makes sense. He’s been held to under three TD passes in only three instances this season and only eight times dating back to the start of 2013 (not including postseason). Perhaps it’s easy to light up the scoreboard as a quarterback when you’re throwing to the likes of Demaryius Thomas, Emmanuel Sanders, and Julius Thomas (assuming he returns from his ankle injury). Manning has thrown for at least three TDs in three of his last five meetings with the Chiefs.

Sporting News’ Fantasy Source staff has Manning ranked as its No. 4 quarterback heading into this week. For additional analysis, odds, and The Linemakers’ lean, check out Larry Hartstein’s Broncos-Chiefs betting preview.
