Bryce Harper S First Hit For Phillies Is A 465 Foot Home Run

The 2015 National League MVP on Saturday got his first hit as a Phillie since signing a 13-year, $330 million deal with the team in the offseason, and he made it count.

Harper connected for a massive, upper-deck shot against the Braves that came off the bat at 113.7 mph.

When all was said and done, the ball flew an estimated 465 feet.

Harper was greeted with a smattering of boos when he struck out with a runner in scoring position in the Phillies’ season opener Thursday. He was called out for a curtain call after this absolute rocket in the team’s second game.
