The PGA Tour’s Greenbrier Classic, which was scheduled to tee off July 7, was canceled on Saturday. The resort is closed for business.

Golfer Bubba Watson, who lives near the golf course, shared photos of and videos of the scene that has devastated parts of West Virginia, resulting in the deaths of at least 24 people.
West Virginia was hit with 8-10 inches of rain in a matter of hours. The flooding has caused massive destruction of homes, roads, bridges and more.
Donations to the United Way of Greenbrier County, the Red Cross and an initiative launched by the Greenbrier are encouraged to help people who have been affected by this event. Immediate $10 donations can also be made by texting REDCROSS to 90999.
