The 6-1, 227-pounder earned a job as a starter after just one preseason game, joining Lavonte David to form the foundation of what could be one of the league’s best young linebacker corps. It’s never too early to talk about the Rookie of the Year award, and judging from the the lick he laid on Browns quarterback Josh McCown Saturday night, Alexander could be a candidate.
